The Cavern is a cinematic test reel that shows off just how many triangles. That's why I believe the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences deserves praise for recognizing this need and providing industry professionals with opportunities to stay ahead of the curve and adapt to the changing landscape of our field. The Unreal Engine 5.2 demo, entitled Electric Dreams, provided an enticing glimpse of the engine’s impressive new foliage-rendering abilities, procedural worldbuilding, and more. The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience shows how the next generation of interactive experiences will offer stunning photorealism, incredibly rich and complex open worlds, and ever more engaging action. The series’ current developers, The Coalition, recently released a tech demo that has some dreaming of Gears 6.
